Criteria for Application
The applican must be:

A registered Nurse
|

|
A member of the Georgia Nurses Association
|
|
|
A member of the Tenth District
|
|
|
Accepted or currently enrolled and in good standing
|
Criteria for Selection
The Scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of:

The length of time as a member of GNA
|
|
|
The degree of participarion in GNA
|
|
|
The person's statement of financial need
|
|
|
The date of application for the scholarship |
Amount of Scholarship
|
|
$500.00 to $1,000.00 per year |
Publicity
|
|
The availability of the Scholarship will be announced through
|
Application and Selection Process
|
|
The completed application should be returned to the Tenth District President who will turn it over to the Chairman of the Scholarship Committee
|
|
|
The Scholarship Committee will review the application and make a recommendation to the Tenth District Board of Directors
|
|
|
The Scholarship will be awarded at the following General Meeting
|
|
|
The deadlines for turning in applications wil be October 1 and
